The HighWire

An AI engine that searches inside years of video.

A huge, fast-growing video archive was effectively unsearchable — you could match a title, but not find where a topic was actually said on screen. We built the AI engine that makes every spoken word findable across the whole library, and we run it.

External client, cleared for naming. Technical-infrastructure work; the search system below is one we build and run.

The chaos

What was leaking.

A years-deep media archive of long-form episodes — a busy, fast-growing platform, adding new content every week — with no way to search inside it. You could match a title, but you couldn't find the moment a subject was actually discussed somewhere across the library. The knowledge was all there and none of it was findable by what was said.

What we built

How we took command.

We built an AI pipeline that understands the video — transcribes it, tags it, and makes every spoken word searchable — then serves semantic and exact-match search over it in one query.

The ingestion + search pipeline: every episode becomes searchable down to the moment.
The results

What changed.

Searchable
every episode made findable by what's said in it — not just the title.
Always current
episodes, articles, and news items indexed together and kept current by an hourly cron.
Any moment
across the whole archive is now findable in a single semantic search.
